Versatile Homes and Buildings Invercargill proudly display an Edgecumbe showhome, have a Thames showhome they utilise as an office, and also have an exciting new showhome currently under construction, due to in June 2017.
Versatile Homes and Buildings Invercargill are open Monday to Friday, and on Saturday's by appointment.

My son had moved into a small rental Versatile home, 5yrs old, with which I was very impressed so I obtained a booklet of Versatile design options to peruse. I found a wonderful variety of home designs and I created one based on these.
A few minor changes were required to suit the section I had purchased and I expected cost increases but Versatile staff advised that I was free to design my own choice of layout for which they would provide a quote. The staff at the Invercargill branch were very obliging, making time to visit the section and discuss what suited best and advise on the local Council regulations for building on the section.
I was introduced to Emma Dempsey who was very pleasant to work with and gave helpful and systematic information on how we were to proceed with the project. Her knowledge of the building process and every detail of pre-planning was second to none, as was her meticulous paperwork. Emma worked during her lunchtime to have interviews with me and patiently helped with providing all the material samples I needed.
Once I finally signed the contract, the hard part for me was mostly done. The builders and sub-contractors followed my plans and choices and it literally appeared out of the ground bit by bit. The contract manager, Dave Newcombe, was very approachable and always available on the cell phone, giving me a timetable of what was ordered and when it was expected. The project was well run and I felt involved at every stage. There was always a chance for me to have a visit at each stage and the builders were very approachable and polite.
There were a few details which I changed along the way and the team in Invercargill were very willing to accommodate the change if they could. I once commented to them that I was glad their name was Versatile!
Now I am living in my new warm and comfortable home and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. It is everything I expected and, despite the small cottage design, the spaciousness has exceeded my expectations. The standard of workmanship is very neat and everything has a professional finish. I feel the cost of the home was very reasonable.
From my experience with this project, I would recommend Versatile as a professional, friendly and obliging company to any prospective customer.

Would most definitely build with them again
If I had any queries on anything with the building, I just contacted the project manager and got it sorted through him, makes it easier for the one person to be dealing with the trades people. Although at times when I needed to go to the building site the contractors were always professional and helpful.
I am very pleased with the quality of the building and the finishing of the interior and exterior work. With Andrew making sure we were happy with everything on our final inspection. Our friends are most impressed with our new Versatile home and we have had lots of wonderful comments from them.
Love the fact that we didn’t have to pay the last payment until the house was signed off, which gave us peace of mind that everything had to be right.
We have used Versatile Invercargill on five other occasions and I would have to say that right from original planning stages and following the projects through with Andrew, dealing with the project managers and administration staff, the professional service and quality has always been superb, nothing was a problem. It is for these reasons we continue to keep going back.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Andrew and his team to anyone and would most definitely build with them again.
