Communication was outstanding from start to finish. We received regular updates on progress, were kept informed of key decisions and timelines, and always felt confident that the project was moving forward as planned. Any questions we had were answered promptly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. This was very important to us as we were living in Auckland, some 3 hours away from Waihi Beach hence unable to review progress and any build issues in person.

Financial transparency was another standout aspect of our experience. We were provided with a detailed and realistic budget from the outset, and all costs wherever possible were quoted and allowed realistic contingencies. The builders managed the project with exceptional discipline. There were no unexpected costs, and the project was completed within the agreed budget, giving us complete confidence throughout the build.

Perhaps what impresses us most is how successfully they brought our design vision to life. We wanted a home that combined the sophisticated alpine character of a Queenstown lodge with the relaxed coastal warmth of a Waihi Beach. They understood this concept immediately and translated it into a beautiful home that blends natural materials, warmth, comfort, and timeless style. The finished result exceeds our expectations and captures exactly the atmosphere we had hoped to achieve. Building a home can be a complex and demanding process, but our experience was enjoyable because of Garry & Luanne’s professionalism, organisation, craftsmanship, and genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcome.
