FARM BUILDINGS
ABOUT OUR FARM BUILDINGS
Versatile Buildings has a variety of different types of farm buildings including the Lean-To farm building, Utility Sheds, Gable Roof farm buildings and the stylish Heritage Barns.
The Above Farm buildings come in two different ranges built for different purposes.
STAND-TOUGH FARM BUILDINGS
The Stand-Tough (round-pole) farm buildings have been designed for the traditional farming market. This range offers you flexibility, whether you need a woolshed, grain store, implement or utility shed, workshop or simply hay storage.
Stand-Tough uses 150mm small end diameter poles and come in a large range of the most popular depths, heights and widths. If you require a size that is not mentioned then please ask your local Versatile outlet as it could be available.
Stand Tough buildings will be of service to you for many years to come. Designed with not only practicality in mind Versatile has also ensured that each Stand-Tough building will look good with one or two-colour options and choice of doors for securing each bay.

STAND-FAST FARM BUILDINGS
The Stand-Fast (square-post) farm buildings have been designed by lifestylers for lifestylers, with a focus on ease of construction utilising traditional methods.
The Stand-Fast range provides the most popular bay widths and heights and offers a range of options to cover a multitude of uses for lifestyle requirements such as hay storages, horse stabling and implement storage. This range maximises visual appeal with a choice of singular or multiple colour options. You also have the ability to fix most Stand-Fast buildings to a concrete slab or directly into the ground.
Stand-Fast buildings are designed to meet New Zealand conditions using two or three 150x50 mm posts nailed together.
All timber that is in contact with the ground for both the Stand-Fast posts and the Stand-Tough poles is H5 treated which gives the timber excellent protection both below the ground and above it. The majority of these buildings can handle up to 1.0kPa snow load and very high wind zones.
